Call for IBIS related patent disclosures: - None Call for opens: - None Review of previous meeting minutes: Minutes from the 28 JUN 2022 meeting were reviewed. Lance Wang moved to approve the minutes. Weston Beal seconded. Without objection the minutes were approved. AR review: - Bob asked Mike Labonte if he is willing to compile the V2.0.2 tschk2 for Windows, Linux, and Unix. Mike's reply was that he doesn't have the tools necessary for a full release. - Bob sent the draft5 contract for IBISCHK V7.1.1 to Jose Godoy and it was approved. Bob sent the contract to the developer for a quote of the cost. - Lance Wang looked for some power-aware IBIS examples for discussion of the quality checklist. New ARs: - Lance Wang to look for some power-aware IBIS examples for discussion of the quality checklist. - Randy Wolff to look for some power-aware IBIS examples for discussion of the quality checklist. NEW ITEMS: Bob recommends that we talk to Atul about an updated tschk2 to include bug5. The fix was provided by Mic Schaeder, but we need a developer to create a full release. Bob proposed to wait on this issue in order to not have 2 checkers (ibischk and tschk) in development at the same time. Weston recommended that we wait until the checker has an actual bug rather than only this enahancement labeled as bug5. The group continued discussion of the quality checklist regarding power-aware aspects. Lance recalls an error in power-aware models where some developer connected the power node to one rail instead of two. The composite current in this case is not correct. Randy pointed out an exmaple file for discussion of power-aware effects. https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__ibis.org_ver7.0_micron-5Fver7-5Finterconnect-5Fexamples-5Fupdated.zip&d=DwIGAg&c=nKjWec2b6R0mOyPaz7xtfQ&r=DcQR-qLpQg5lIreuM6-NYECRIAFXt268PRNS5WO043M&m=RLdcRdVYW5qqqDVws9bLY0BVcsj3CP1-qwQciS48Bm_oihA3ArqHcHa4JUcEDM9q&s=65WIaRgX6D3SFBKZKB1H-VEV4VROAwIBg2l9NNN-lz0&e= The task group continued the discussion of quality items specifically regarding the Composite Current tables. Randy showed an example of a good model in which the composite current flucuated before the rising and falling waveforms did. This effect represents the switching of the pre-driver. The checklist should include a description of this time-domain effect. Tabled topics (no discussion without motion): - IBISCHK security fixes Randy moved to adjourn. Lance seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 12:58 ET Next meeting 12 JUL 2022
